Ziad Rahbani Tribute Concert

Ziad Rahbani (زياد الرحباني; January 1956 – 26 July 2025) was a Lebanese composer, pianist, playwright and political commentator. He was the son of Fairuz, one of Lebanon and the Arab world's most famous singers, and Assi Rahbani, one of the founders of modern Arabic music. He was considered one of the most influential artists in modern Lebanese history, remembered for his wit, creativity, and refusal to conform.

The Concert is a special night of music, song, and memories to celebrate the life and work of Ziad. Featuring Layan Hawila on Oud and Vocals, and the Souq El-Jum3a ensemble, which will include oud, qanoun, accordion, violin, trombone, bass, percussion, and vocalist Marwa Morgan. All of the proceeds from the concert will be split with The Loov to expand the space's audio capacity to hold more concerts like this one in the future. The remaining proceeds will be donated to Beit Atfal Assumoud to aid their cultural music and dance programs working with Palestinian refugee youth in Lebanon.
